Overview
The site presented an opportunity to create a sustainable settlement in Yorkshire while respecting the existing community and wider countryside.
The concept masterplan brought housing, local facilities and employment together within a landscape-led framework of parks, woodland, green routes and pedestrian and cycle connections.

The concept organised housing around a central park and local centre, supported by community parkland, schooling provision, employment space, woodland and linked walking and cycling routes.
